About Shannon

Shannon's Blog

As a child Shannon was extremely shy and quiet, but was never more comfortable or confident than when she was on stage. Whether she was playing her clarinet, singing in the chorus, or delivering her lines in a play, performing always made her feel connected in a way nothing else could. Later in life, a five year stint performing The Rocky Horror Picture Show with the Home of Happiness taught her to bring that confidence into her daily life.

The narcotic of live performance has not left her system, though, and she continues to pursue the stage as a way of life. Shannon has a bachelors degree in theater from Rutgers University and her stage credits include The Salem Pirate Faire (Captain Killigrew), Wooing Wed Widing Hood (Evil Queen), The Shoestring Players' Heroes, Helpers and Really Bad Dudes (Narrator, Maggie, Ensemble) and Brights (Karen).

In her personal life, Shannon is most often to be found at her local rock climbing gym, out dancing at her local goth club, or in her own living room rolling dice and slaying dragons.  When she's not busy with her friends, Shannon can sometimes be spotted working diligently and hopelessly on skills such as contact juggling and spinning poi.
